I can get a basic black frame with UV Non Glare Acrylic and an Acid free mounting board for under $200 for this.
Y'all acting like you have to spend $500+ to frame this up.

Agreed on price and size. Not on edition size.jeffzilla wrote:very e-z
I think he got the edition size/price/print size ratio bang on

This release was basically the reverse of Cloisters. Print size and Edition size too small for Cloisters. Print size and Edition size too big for Hugs. Good news is odds are the next big Esao release will be just right Both images are classics though in my opinion.Codeblue wrote:Add it to the 1 fiddy pile with the new kaws.
Good news for the 7 people who did buy Hugs, you'll be getting a golden ticket...

But if ya use just spacers for a print this big (and probably heavy due to the paper + ink) shits gonna get wavy really quick. This def needs a mat or two = even more yuuugeIndyDMBFan wrote:I can get a basic black frame with UV Non Glare Acrylic and an Acid free mounting board for under $200 for this.

Spacers and some decent hinges, and I think it would stay perfectly flat. Can't see the paper being that thick on these.

So...what's the consensus. Do we think this sell-out is legit? For Esao, I absolutely hope so...that would mean an amazing Christmas bone-us for Soybean.
*Didn't mean for this to be an attack of any kind. Sometimes artists pull prints. It's no secret and I don't consider it a negative thing. It's just...a thing.

No. People need Hugs...etc.Codeblue wrote:Duh. It's getting cold and people need blankets.
a) it's the biggest painting he's ever done (other than murals), so a large print is surely merited.rikkirattoe wrote:This release was basically the reverse of Cloisters.
