Anyone get an extra letterpress set from Zoltron's store that they want to sell/trade?

The ones listed on eBay for 300+ are ridiculous. They started getting listed from the drop.
To make babies?
Ps for 5 grand you'd damn sure hope the corner dings would frame out.

Usually because the framer doesn't know any better on the collectability of these prints. Sometimes the print if already in poor enough condition that drymounting will at least make it presentable.
A pretty piss-poor job of dry mounting if it's rippling up. Can't frame that out...fredo wrote:

There is an ongoing thread on this in the Zoltron FB group. The woman who owns this piece of fudge asked what people thought the print was worth. The highest estimate was $100 and most, like me, said it was worth nothing in the open market. She played along, said she dearly wanted someone in the group to get it b/c the framer secured her another one, then...BAM!...$5k BIN! drymounting hilarious...I'll take a Dylan and a Sperry lady for that, and still be able to buy a beer or two!

Only $5k? She should have gone for $8k or best offer. That best offer gimmick could make someone thing they're getting a steal if they offer $5k to $6k.
I always defer to someone who's wearing a beater, regardless of what else he's wearing.

For $5K you can get works from Damien Hirst, Kiki Smith, Ellsworth Kelly, etc.

My brother is a museum curator and I asked him about drymounting and he had never even heard of it.

homerun...
Introducing a new artist to our poster family, an undeniable 7-color silkscreen poster by acclaimed artist and master of the meticulous, The Artwork of N.C. Winters
Tonight's limited edition poster for the Grand Rapids, Michigan show measures 18" X 24" is artist signed and numbered and will be available at the merch booth during tonight's show. There will be a small number signed by the band as well.
Love it...kind of reminds me of the Emek Big Old Nasty Getdown (remoting not working for me or I would paste it), but I actually like NC's print a bit better (matter of taste of course). Great addition to the family, Z!
