I'm also a huge fan of Robert Redford so there's that.punch wrote:I love sports, movies, and sports movies.. and I think The Natural is vastly overrated. It's slow, melodramatic, and kinda boring. The dialog in it is pretty awful and all the characters are one dimensional. I think people are only fond of it because of the lights-blowing-up finale and they tend to forget the pretty bland movie that leads up to it.
Just my opinion.
That being said, Mark's painting is pretty cool. I'd hang it just because it reminds me of playing catch with my dad.
