Here's something I don't often show, it's a preliminary sketch, done on my iPad whilst pulling out of london, 10 mins, study for future canvas painting, called The Light Garden, I really like the quality of this sketch, simply but captured the light from the tunnels well...

Here's another digital speed paint in my new "New York' series, Fashion District on the last day of our amazing trip last year, rainy streets, blurry lights, and heavy rain, created some beautiful street scenes, rain allows great reflections of lights and really adds something to a city scene i think, anyway i hope you all like this! I have a lot of inspiration and planned works to come from this series.

Whilst I paint away on canvases in my studio, I also create digital illustrations based on sketch and doodles in my sketch books. Diversity in my work is key, so here's a digital visual for a future large scale graffiti / mural production. It's not a finished illustration as such, more of a colour guide for me to paint on a large scale, hope you like!

So here's a shot of my latest huge canvas painting,
'Downtown Manhattan' ( escape from new York )
It's based on a speed paint created on my iPad at JFK airport last November as our trip to new York came to an end.
Mixed media, spray paint and acrylic on deep edged box canvas
It's the biggest canvas I have painted, 5ft x 4ft aprox, 60 x 48inches, barely fit on my studio easel !
