So i've got a few Rhys' posters to frame but finding frames for the 12"x36" posters seems to be a search in futility. Any recommendations of standard frames to use for posters of this size or all they all custom made?

Aaron Brothers used to be the main place to find them. Michaels is some stupid shitty custom size, 11 3/4 x 36.

otherwise, custom is normally the way you have to go.

I had my "cheap" framer make one for me, cost me $40 and I can slide a different print in there every few months. Right now I have Perillos Great Pumpkin in there but usually it's a Cooper.

Spotlight Displays dot com makes 12 x 36 frames and even use Rhys' art in one of the display shots. These frames are the best money you'll spend on a pre-made frame.

Spotlight Displays frames are awesome. I don't have any of their 12x36, but I have a few of their 24x36 and 18x24 and they're great. Planning to get a couple 12x36 from them soon.

Awesome, thanks for the advice guys! With spotlight displays, is the print touching the front glass, or does it sort of float?

There's no glass with the standard frames. It is an acid free plastic ish sheet. I have a buddy who swears by Spotlight and they look great. Plus they are extremely affordable.

On the site he has some videos that show how it works in detail. Basically what Rambo said, there is a plastic sheet that will sit on top of the print, and a backing sheet between the print and the wall. It's front loading so it's easy to switch them out.

There's a thread for them, if you want to see some pics people have shared:

Thanks so much for linking to the thread, answered all my questions! Can't wait to pick a couple of these up to start displaying my art.
