Thick rick oil based inks that will not scuff. You can almost feel the textures in the inks. He learned to print with the Firehouse gang
His Evil Dead print is a departure from the metallics and has a really thick glossy ink on it. Its really beautiful in the flesh. I tried to capture the glossy feel but as ever a pic does not really do it justice. Very underrated print imho..
Flapjack, TDK is framed beautifully, I have yet to frame mine..the mat on yours really adds to it...v nice

The Dark Knight is pretty damn cool, and the inks are very thick. I really wish he'd come out with another print from a movie I'd actually want to hang on the wall though.

+1 Samurai. People, if you are on the fence about these...don't hesitate. You'll kick yourself for not buying them when they are available.

The Castro had a showing of Raising Arizona and The Big Lebowski last night. I'd love to see David's take on these 2 films.

I also saw they recently had a Clash of the Titans (original) and 20,000 Leagues double feature ... same - would have loved his take on those too! I see Tron is on the calendar for June. Looks like David is doing quarterly releases.
When I look at those big detailed pics in this thread ... I'm even more pumped for my purchase.

I've been waiting for Mondo to give me a Seven Samurai poster, but I picked up this one and I hope it looks great in person. Glad I checked the site early this morning before heading out!

OHHHH a few more that I'd be interested in. Here's hoping IF they do prints for all those listed that they don't all get released at the same time!

That is the same image I would have posted. Says it all.
+Does anyone else find David's style particularly suitable for classic mid-century films? He has done several posters for contemporary films but his work really shines in his classic film posters, IMO.
