I think I understand what you're trying to accomplish here, but the lack of a subject in this piece really doesn't work for me. My 2 cents.

Sure, hope I didn't offend.

It looks like you were taking it in a similar direction to you "Reader" piece, but in that piece, even though the subject is cropped, he's still the focus. Maybe if you rework the piece, you can use one of the characters as the subject while the other is reacting to him. That way you can still create the same effect, but while forcing the viewer to become either the shamed character or the proud character.

No, no offense taken at all. I honestly just make what seems interesting to me, but that doesn't always translate into something with wide appeal, so I'm very open to constructive criticism.

Another one, this time with a variant:

Silver and blue-gray on white, limited to 10.

White and dark gray on gray, limited to 20.

The title is "Protect Us" and measures 13" x 19".

I dig your work. I get a lot more feeling and atmosphere from your work than I do a lot of other artists. I have been contemplating buying something from you and I think I will now do so.
