Pretty ashamed PJ is even going.
Personally, I couldn't care less about it... should be the Music Hall of Fame but it's still a great honor after pouring in 20+ years.

Agreed, but I still don't see your point. The Hall of Fame is basically a,"Hey, (insert person or artist) kicked ass so hard for X amount of time and gave millions and millions of people loads of great music. Here's a celebration!" It's not the Grammy's or something where they are saying, "Well, Nirvana has the early '90's category on lock so nobody else can enter the HOF."
All their peers and people they respect will be there so for them to pull something lame and decline or something like that would be childish.

Here's the story behind the release: http://www.twofeetthick.com/2004/02/03/ ... ier-field/BENYOUNG20 wrote:Any Pearl Jam vinyl experts? Local shop has a copy of the Live Spin The BlacK circle Lp which I know there are tons of bootlegs of. Any way to tell if copy is an original with out opening?
.. and here's its entry in the pjcollectors' database: http://www.pjcollectors.com/detail.asp?id=752 . You could probably ask your question in the forum section of pjcollectors.com or contact directly some long standing members there. I know my version of the LP is real because I got it way before the first bootlegs appeared.

Meh, some people go crazy in hopes of the off-chance they get something crazy rare. I bought one a few years back and have passed on the last few. I just wind up with a bunch of junk I don't need.BENYOUNG20 wrote:Just bought a mystery box...was this dumb of me? Never bought one before.

Along with what is included. But yes.Kdh12 wrote:They have also increased the price have they not.
They used to do those, but they probably realized they can make much more money bundling those in with all the crappy shirts and tour merch they had left.duckboi14 wrote:I will buy a mystery box one day. Today is not that day.
I would much prefer a mystery poster by itself.

Looking at the 10c thread, there are some decent prints being pulled in the first batch of delivered boxes.

I pulled a Faile Wrigley variant from my box, so I am not going to complain. Not signed/numbered, but still pretty nice to get.
