Pretty ashamed PJ is even going.
Why wouldn't they? It's a celebration of great music.

Personally, I couldn't care less about it... should be the Music Hall of Fame but it's still a great honor after pouring in 20+ years.
Music isn't a contest.

Agreed, but I still don't see your point. The Hall of Fame is basically a,"Hey, (insert person or artist) kicked ass so hard for X amount of time and gave millions and millions of people loads of great music. Here's a celebration!" It's not the Grammy's or something where they are saying, "Well, Nirvana has the early '90's category on lock so nobody else can enter the HOF."

All their peers and people they respect will be there so for them to pull something lame and decline or something like that would be childish.

Here's the story behind the release: http://www.twofeetthick.com/2004/02/03/ ... ier-field/
.. and here's its entry in the pjcollectors' database: http://www.pjcollectors.com/detail.asp?id=752 . You could probably ask your question in the forum section of pjcollectors.com or contact directly some long standing members there. I know my version of the LP is real because I got it way before the first bootlegs appeared.

Meh, some people go crazy in hopes of the off-chance they get something crazy rare. I bought one a few years back and have passed on the last few. I just wind up with a bunch of junk I don't need.

Yea you'll probably get more than $100 worth of stuff but chances are you won't care about most of it. I see they tossed in a Kong and a crackerjack to get people excited.

I will buy a mystery box one day. Today is not that day.

I would much prefer a mystery poster by itself.

They used to do those, but they probably realized they can make much more money bundling those in with all the crappy shirts and tour merch they had left.

Looking at the 10c thread, there are some decent prints being pulled in the first batch of delivered boxes.

I pulled a Faile Wrigley variant from my box, so I am not going to complain. Not signed/numbered, but still pretty nice to get.
