Glad I just found this, you don't get much JVL talk on MT lol. Snagged Mysterex I during the OG sale a while back and Lichen I giclee today. Can't get enough JVL

It's a good deal cheaper than what Mindzai Gallery wanted, that's a steal of a price IMO. Whoever pulled off Forest Fire Sunrise is a lucky bugger, congrats!

I almost drove to Atlanta to try to get that one at the show. Alas, no funds for it now.

It was a JVL kind of day! By sheer dumb luck a piece came back from the framers and a piece got delivered from Jacob within hours of one another.

Here's the new guy, it's going to be framed up to match the one below.

Here's the piece which I just picked up from the framer. The lighting in some of the photos is really off but I wanted to catch the angles to show you all the depth of the frame and shadow box. These pieces are 1.5" deep on their own, so the frame itself really juts out from the wall, it's awesome!
