Jeez, I can't believe CA is being offered at below cost now. Only 1 but still. I expected they would the to hold their value decently.

It seems that as Aaron has (justifiably) raised the price of his work, there has been a decline of resale "value" for a lot of his work. Flippers havin' troubles flippin'.GoBluePanic wrote:Jeez, I can't believe CA is being offered at below cost now. Only 1 but still. I expected they would the to hold their value decently.

Pricey, and my initial impression is that green would be my 3rd choice even barring price. Now if it was like a white on steel gray, I'd be in my feelings right now. I'm a little surprised they didn't stick with a red to keep consistent with Colossus.

I agree, I think green is #3 for me. I'm real hopeful I made the right choice with the variant. I'm partial to the grey because it's close to the OG's but the bluepurple really got me. From the pics it seemed like the details pop a little more.

Ikebana set came yesterday. They are a little more purple than the pics imo but still look good and I'm happy.
Bummer that the Megafauna edition hasn't sold out.

I don't see why he should be able to constantly get away with charging his ludicrous prices so IMO it's about time Horkey fans stood up for themselves and something didn't sell out, haha.GoBluePanic wrote:Ikebana set came yesterday. He had the Japanese Detritus up there for years at around $600. I almost bought it but resisted for too long. It eventually disappeared. I kinda regret it. That is one awesome looking print and I’d love to have it now.
I think these Ikebanas are beautiful but I have to agree with most, the green isn’t my favorite of the three choices. A slate black woulda been cool.
I went with the regular set as I felt it looked closer to the originals. Also, the regular set will match up better with the 2.5 piece....that I broke down and grabbed. Even though I don’t think I’ll be framing a dead bird very soon. I’m MUCH more exited about the regular Ikebana set possibly matching the upcoming THC (Tremors Have Ceased) print really well...especially the similar owl/dragon imagery. I’m so digging these recent works!
