I got all three, the main, foil, and yellow submarine gold.... Not sure if that was a good idea or a little too much of a Xmas splurge.

Pepperland main edition was up for $180. Then foil popped up for $400. Then main edition sold out; foil sold out as well after being up for a while.

Well since y'all have that funny money up there, I am assuming retirement is pretty cheap!

Luls.

A funny story about the funny money. About 7 or 8 years ago, my wife and I went for a short road trip down to the States. We lived in Ontario back then, not far from Toronto. Went down to Washington, through Pittsburgh, then up to Baltimore, Atlantic City, Philly and back home to Canada. Took a bus to one of the casinos in the Atlantic City (what a dump, btw) and than the same bus back to the hotel. On the way back I had a few Canadian twenties in my pocket (I think it was $20s, might be wrong though) and some change (as in metal change) in US coins, no more than a couple of bucks. It was just before the New Year, so I figured I will throw a twenty to the driver to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. The dude refused and opted for less than a couple of bucks of change instead, in spite of the fact that the exchange rate back than was something like 1 CAD = 1.08 USD or not far from it anyway.

The moral of the story is that Atlantic City is a shithole.

I got the gold too. I thought they also sent the regular, I want the purple also!

Oh well I'll get it eventually.
I’m still waiting on mine to land...finger taps as USPS shows it “in transit...expected Dec 9...unexpected delay...” after all, we did get 6” of snow that clung to the ground for 48 whole hours...

Speaking of change, at the post office today, I saw some EBer paying at the counter with a chitload of change while there was a huge line. I was about to walk out the door after dropping my fudge off when I noticed the sea of change on the counter. He payed with his change then proceeded to pick up every single fuggin unused coin (dozens of them) individually and put it back in his pocket. Wasn't even an old person either.
