Actually he took that link down, thanks to me asking a simple question last night directly to him. Why do people never ask questions around here and just assume the worse?

Me: Grabbed the Akira because it's absolutely insane the amount of detail you put into it.

Just how limited are these though? It's confusing when you have two separate links to buy this, your main store and Society6.

Him: Thanks for bringing that to my attention, I added the Akira print to my Society6 shop out of habit. I've since taken it down. This illustration is so big and so special to me that I'm only producing a run of 100 prints (of each size) on my official page. Thanks and I hope you enjoy your poster!

It's absolutely fantastic and rivals Stout's IMO. Why glossy paper though? I wonder if it is too late for him to change to something nicer...

I love this thing so much I e-mailed him and asked about the paper. Worst case scenario is these are all printed and tough titties, best case is enough people e-mail him and he prints on better stock. I suggest you all do the same:

http://www.thatkidwhodraws.com/contact.html

This is kind of strange, though:

"TKWD Poster Prints are printed on 80lb and 110lb premium matte at a high quality resolution. Poster Prints larger than 20"x30" are shipped securely in poster tubes to ensure mint quality upon delivery."

""AKIRA" Poster Print
Limited edition hand signed and numbered poster prints. Printed on high-quality gloss and shipped in protective tubes for best quality. As of right now, shipping to the US only."

I've only seen the ending to Akira, but I've seen the ending twice.

Too much effort to skip back chapters on disc?

He's got a Radiohead tattoo. He's okay in my book!

Has anyone gotten a response on the printing for the Akira print yet? I think I'm going to order one. I thought $56 was expensive, but it includes shipping so that's not too bad.
