How about JP or BTTF?daviddelgadoh wrote:Nah. They've been very specific in that, if they're going to do something, they're going to do it right. Eg. they had the Ghostbusters license, but because they couldn't work out likeness stuff they decided to just not do it.tylt33 wrote: I don't think anyone is going to be doing collage posters... I think CodeBlue is right and they didn't get rights to likenesses. I think we will see lots of monsters and landscapes... Maybe a few shadowy figures here and there.
I can't see them committing to a whole LotR series without working it out like they did with Star Wars (bunch of art prints, then a few traditional posters).

Printed on 80# coated cover stock
Maybe? I'm a fan of the art, though.
Considering the first 2 JP posters have no people on them, and the BTTF shows Mr. J Fox's shadow, it's pretty obvious. Whether likeness rights are being worked on, is another matter. It would certainly explain the long delay.daviddelgadoh wrote:Who said they don't have likeness rights for those?Codeblue wrote: How about JP or BTTF?

Mondo really needs to put out a new Blade Runner print. There is no way I'll ever be able to afford the Stout
Give Ansin a shot at it.

When Germain at Slashfilm asked directly if they had the BTTF likeness rights, they said 'no comment'.daviddelgadoh wrote:Who said they don't have likeness rights for those?Codeblue wrote: How about JP or BTTF?

I hope we get more JP prints, even if they dont have people. So many more dinosaurs that can be done.Codeblue wrote:Considering the first 2 JP posters have no people on them, and the BTTF shows Mr. J Fox's shadow, it's pretty obvious.
