Private auctions and/or private feedback on ebay?

Most people that I know who did that said that the competitors were stealling away the bidders. If that is true, I would consider the stealing of active bidders more unethical.

Anyway, I have never done a private auction as I never had a problem.

this is why I have done this with certain prints in the past on ebay..

I can see both sides of the argument, but I'm always concerned about shilling on private auctions. I tend to shy away from them unless its something I'm realy willing to take a risk on. :?
