Why would the paper fade? i have been experimenting and on dark pieces or prints that are hand painted the museum glass is far above anything else. I have found on Tru Vue glass it can give a slight green tint but this seems to be mainly on mono chrome prints and very minimal the acrylic version gives of no tint. I guess for me having that crystal clear view from all angles on my highly prized art is the way to go i just wish i could pay what our US brothers do to get it..mrkyuss wrote:Paper fades. Without museum you also get a nasty reflection.
I used plexi on might, as it is in a hallway, the reflection is only really from the down lights above it, so not so bad.

Outer Gallery are selling the latest Geddes prints framed in the standard Outre way for $410 http://www.outre-gallery.com.au/product ... hypostasisToolFanFromWayBack wrote:Man, I thought they nixed the idea of this being a timed release so as to not piss off the red cosmonaut owners. Really missed on this one!
Just thought i would try and be helpful seeing it is that time of year..
I mean the paper fades under standard glass with sunlight over time.roo wrote:Why would the paper fade? i have been experimenting and on dark pieces or prints that are hand painted the museum glass is far above anything else. Completely agree with you on museum. The Hush looks so much better with hardly any tint.

Does museum make a difference? Yes. But if you're like me and most of your artwork doesn't see direct sunlight you're fine with conservation clear glass IMO.
Still waiting on mine, just spent a fortune on framing some pieces so this and Ascent will have to wait til next year.

Any issues and you can follow up with them though.
