In all seriousness, if you intend to keep it, why not try covering the corner with thin silicone or rubber sheeting and see if you can bend it a bit with pliers? It might become passable.

That silicone and pliers trick sounds like a good last resort. I sent Mondo an email to see if I can exchange it. If so, I'll just make the drive down to Austin and swap it out.
