HA! You're off your rocker. Leftovers is drymounting incredible.

And yup, I've rewatched Lost more than once. If you liked it you'll enjoy watching it again. If you didn't you can go back to watching your Home Improvement reruns.

And, if you actually watched the series for 6 seasons and your enjoyment of it was predicated entirely on it's ending, well that's on you. :pint:

Let it be said that I did not hate the ending to The Leftovers, twas my wife.

Although I do believe that Season 1 was the best of the seasons by far.

I want all the hours of my life back that I spent watching this show. What a let down.

I dunno, Babs.
But I do know this - you're letting your uvula go to the dogs. Also The Leftovers got pretty wack
just a foil for me today, thanks

Loved watching Lost.

Never heard of The Leftovers, I'll have to give that a whirl.

Leftovers was AMAZING. S1, I found a bit slow to start... S2 was one of the best seasons I've ever seen of anything... S3, although not quite as good, was still very special. Such a well written, directed and acted show.

The Lost started getting lost with about a third or a quarter left into the series, IMO. It was not just the end. In other words, the "meh" was progressive and did not come as a "what the drymount" in the last episode or two. Yet I watched it to the last one.

I think the only series I have ever re-watched from start to finish was Breaking Bad and I enjoyed the second time as much as I did the first, maybe even more the second time around.

Agreed on season 2. One of my favorite seasons of anything next to Carnivale season 2 and 24 season 5

Just chiming in to say The Leftovers is tops for me (come at me The Wire and Sopranos) -- just fills that sort of "magical realism" niche that I am a sucker for with respect to movies/TV. It just also develops those characters so well.

I agree with the sentiment that season 1 is one I enjoy a lot. Two of my close friends could barely get through season 1 (so bleak) but then loved S2 and S3. For some reason, I love the bleakness. The Nora-centric episode from that season is probably my favorite of that season (one of my favorite for the series in general). Anything Nora in general. Carrie Coon. However, the craziness of season 2, in particular the Hotel, just make season 2 amazing. And I'm very satisfied by the ending. Takes something so large and distills it into something so personal (hopefully that's not spoilers).

As there's been no great art for the show, I've commissioned Greg Ruth for a piece...looking forward to that.

I just watched that episode this past weekend since my wife has restarted the series.

When Desmond is flashing back and forth at the phone booth it reminded me of something so familiar but I couldn't place it. It then hit me, hippie crack is about the same feeling.

Dexter is probably easiest worst ending. Weeds may be competitive with it if you count entire season as ending.

Dexter's ending is such RHG but the last few seasons were pretty crappy and shoulda been a good indicator. I don't know how anyone even made it to the finale of weeds. Like every other jenji jawn it becomes unwatchable after the first few seasons.

P.S. Better Call Saul > Breaking Bad
