Is there a standard for measuring the value of a print that has some imperfections? Maybe some kind of scale? I need to make an offer on a print I really want but it is in less than mint condition. I will be framing the print and have been told that the damage would be unnoticeable uner glass. However, things happen and should I ever need to part with it, I would like to be able to recoup my investment. At the same time, I would like to make the offer fair for the seller.

Any advice would be appreciated.
