Great Wittfooth! As far as I'm concerned, the more depressing, the better when it comes to Martin's paintings. Like you, A, I've been a bit MIA of late. But I did just pick up an original by Victor Castillo. Really like his art, and this piece fits my collection like a glove. It is titled As You Are, and was commissioned by Kimbra to accompany the release of her second album, The Golden Echo. The song Teen Heat was the inspiration for this piece. I'm not necessarily a fan of the music, but the art is terrific.

I particularly liked Graphite 3 (see below), but it was already sold. The piece I bought is from 2014, and probably was still available because the image is not as disturbing or hard hitting as Victor's usual paintings.

Awesome pickup T. Probably one my favorite Castillos (probably because it's not as graphic)

Yeah, that was one of my favorite images as well. If the timing was better (and I had more wall space), I would've pulled the trigger on this one. Snapped this photo at the show.

Take this cancer to UAA and leave it there. Wrong forum, wrong thread.

I propose an art knowledge duel between alittle and chevy, in which the loser is banned forever :lurk:
