Edit: that was the price of the 2 pencil sketches, obviously. There were also 6 paintings. One was £8500 and all the others were between £17500 and £23500 I think. And all her pieces sold within half an hour of the VIP/press preview opening

Sketches are meh especially for dat kinda dough. Ya made the right call. Only good piece is Marianne. Still not a big fan of all dat brown wood doe.

I rarely buy art posted on eBay, but when I do, it has tended to be damn good. Although not a bargain - I overpaid - a piece that I tried to acquire from a 2010 show at Copro Gallery became available, and I added it to my collection. A large graphite drawing by Nouar titled Just Between Us, I actually like it better than the painting with the same title. Sadly, Nouar has seemingly disappeared from the art scene of late.
