Had to part with a few works to make way for this one, but very, very happy.
I was back and forth with the yellow being so dominant, but in the end Martins thoughts behind it and the fact that I find it extremely beautiful made the choice easy in the end, especially with a little help from a few friends. Thank you guys.

Sure mfaith.
“This new series seeks to contribute to this revitalized conversation: our era is riddled with turmoil and uncertainty stemming from our dominion rather than stewardship of the world that we inhabit. Perhaps our salvation lies in the recognition that beneath the veneer of our culture we are the very same nature that we have pushed to the margins.
My idea behind this particular painting was to point toward the pagan/archaic origins of “Easter” - the notion that our species has spiritually dialogued and connected with the natural world and its cycles far before organized religions hijacked the realm of “spirit”.

You already know what I think, Allan. Your latest Wittfooth is one of my favorites. And I agree, yellow, particularly bright yellow, is sometimes off-putting, but works extremely well with this image. A wonderful addition to your collection.
