The value of test/mono prints...

its really as simple as if you like the image or not. there are a couple of leias that i really love.

here are some of my favorites from my collection.

then sometimes its all about that one layer. i recently picked up this one becaue the top grey layer is my boy ernie.

These three examples are completed hand embellished by being totally painted over. They're more paintings than monoprints.

ed.....that alkaline / size of things test print is one of the best I have seen. awesome pickup on the one. almost looks like the skater is jumping the car and dino

thanks man, of the two it's hard to pick a favorite. for me, landing a jay test print with a fugazi print was pretty awesome. on the other hand that alkaline trio is one of my favoirte jay prints.

Value lies in the eyes of the beholder. I think they are great for the information they provide on the process. But I think people are insane for paying large amounts for them. Was a lot nicer when they were 5 or 10 bucks on the end of the table at Flatstock......
