wow, spam much? Although I can see why as I don't know why anyone would purchase this without some hype being built up first.

you know, when you posted this once ... it caught my interest .... but I'm not buying this on the principle that you posted it no less than 5 times throughout the forums ...

I can smell your desperation, it's not pretty.

it scares me that as long as something is limited edition, people will buy anything.

This is the first time I'm seeing it, so...not worried about spam, but 5 times seems excessive.

And a friend just got that metal Mao a few weeks back, it was top-notch. I almost backhanded him across the face because, like a bitch, he was whining he didn't the 1/1 gold variant.

Baseman has a lot of fans outside of the print world (read: EB), so I don't think ripping on this toy is make or break the sale. I bet a lot of people think it kicks ass. It'll be gone in seconds.

If I had a complaint, I feel like the eyes and mouth were transferred from drawing to sculpture too "realistically." The eyes are too straight up-and-down, the mouth is too horizontal...I think if it had more of a badly-drawn-comic feel it would have that "drymounted up playtime" aesthetic working overtime.

The Mao is bad ass. I wrote a sappy ode to it here: http://www.expressobeans.com/forum/view ... torder=asc
