Hi all,

I'm new to the print world, so out of curiosity, what is the general rule for pricing prints to be sold to resellers? Obviously the price would decrease as the quantity increased, but can anyone suggest a starting point?

Let's say I'm selling an edition of 70 prints at $30 each and want to sell 10 or 20 wholesale... thoughts?

Thanks!

wholesale is typically 1/2 the price of retail.

But also varies from artist to artist (and even print to print within an artist's catalog - in my experiences, some prints aren't offered at wholesale while others are no problem). But I'd say anywhere from 25%-50% of "retail" pricing.

you'd probably have to buy a minimum number of copies, etc... and yeah, i think they're probably 50% of the retail price. a minimum order, etc.

not sure how many artists will offer this to you if you're strictly an online store.
