Portfolio preferences

Hey guys, I have a probably 40 tubes or prints I've accumulated over the past few years. mostly 18x24. Some 24x36. -I read a couple of comments that if you leave prints in shipping tubes long enough it can ruin the print. Any truth to that? Also, I see portfolios range from 20 -200 dollars. Any recommendations?

Yeah totally agree. Bit the bullet in december and it arrived today...absolutely worth every penny. Very high quality and it's great not having to unclip about 12 clips on foam boards to look or add new prints haha

Looks like the obey portfolio is the best value option for storing 40+ prints.
Keeping them in tubes is NOT the way? Or is that just an opinion?

Keeping them in tubes is not a good storage solution.

And for 18x24 and smaller I use Itoyas. I’ve got 12 of them in various sizes and have always found they work well.

Nah it's definitely not good for the print to have the image tightly curled up with all that tension. I had to get a 39"x49" flat file made for my Mark Maggiori cowboy prints because I had some in tubes for 2 years.

I’ve got both the 24x36 and 27x41 from Baroque. They are worth the wait and someone on here may work for them. I am keeping both even because you can have multiple sizes in them. You can keep cardboard on the print and even slide it in the protective cover. They are double sided. The only thing I would upgrade too is a flat file coffee table. Thank you to all the people I’ve watched for years that helped steer me in the direction. Watch YouTube even to see how much people like them.
