Hi,
I just started getting into this. Anyone know if there is a site out there like expressobeans for limited edition steelbooks exclusive blu rays etc for collectors? Can we add that stuff to the database on here? They usually have limited runs and different variants and I think some are done well enough to display like a print.

I have an account there and everything in my collection. I'm on there daily actually and hardly ever look at the forums. Guess I should start there.

Also hidefninja.com and mediapsychos.com. With those and blu-ray.com, you won't miss anything.

Another question for those that collect them: If you do open them what do you buy if you want to protect them real good. Like I use mylar sleeves for prints from bagsunlimted? Anyone have a product/place for steelbook protectors

The SC2 size is for just the steelbook, and they're really good. There are other sizes that fit different companies' slipcovers, whether opened or kept in the packaging. Buy a bunch at once, to keep the costs lower.

Enjoy the collecting! I've found it to be a lot of fun. :)
