Searching through EB I discovered Ozabu doesn't have a dedicated thread of her own, and she's definitely deserving of one.
Ozabu has quickly become one of my favorite artists. Her delicate graphite sketches are nearly incomprehensible. They're incredible to view in person.
This last one I picked up myself a ways back, and am currently getting it framed Would love to see anything anyone here has added to their collections.
Also, we just finished up an edition that we're shipping off to Japan this week to be signed. Aiming for a release late next month.

That's extremely cool! Congrats.StaticMedium wrote:This last one I picked up myself a ways back, and am currently getting it framed Would love to see anything anyone here has added to their collections.
I picked up her guest release from The VACVVM a ways back. Did y'all print that one?
Can't wait to see the upcoming release.

Thanks! It's a fashion illustration she made for Nick Knight // Showstudio (https://shop.showstudio.com/t/art/all).
They work with tons of contemporary artists to have them illustrate different high-end fashion pieces. This particular one was inspired by "Thom Browne S/S 16", or the Thom Browne Spring 2016 collection. So cool! I hadn't seen these photos of what it was actually based on. Thanks for making me look this up Jayper!

Well deserved thread! Ozabu's work is, indeed, breathtaking. It's remarkable that she's still fairly new to her craft, considering how insanely talented she is. It'll be exciting to see how she progresses.
So it goes...
Your Nick Knight piece is great.StaticMedium wrote:Thanks! It's a fashion illustration she made for Nick Knight // Showstudio (https://shop.showstudio.com/t/art/all).

Ozabu has the most delicate touch. I have a graphite and acrylic piece that she did for Dior/Showstudio a few years back.
Those models up there look like Pipi Longstocking had sex with Hitler.
Beautiful illustrations though.

That's some next level stuff right there.
Lies are a funny thing. They slip through your fingertips because they never happened to you. Time wounds all the heals as we fade out of view
