I'm a big fan of the "comic book" style backgrounds from some of Prefab's most recent work. Specifically, the "Native Love" print from their most recent show.

Was going to copy a link, but I think the Art of Protest website is down

I voted #1, but I would also take 3 or 6

i like 2/3 most as they feel similar .... and 6 Honorable mention but with some color

We are getting quite a lot of input, (choice of technique/style, choice of image, choice of colour palette, medium choice) obviously it has to work for a majority of the group, I understand if those choices wouldn't have been your first choice but, it's the fairest way for this too work.

The most recent survey was for the technique to be used and the finished artwork will differ from the images shown. (some had been previously released)
Once Prefab get back with some more ideas and options we can move on.

Hopefully you'll be a fan of the finished design.

Survey sent

Quick update on the Prefab commission
Another survey was sent out last night -

We are now tied down to an edition of 56 artworks. So I feel we can start sharing a bit more info on here too

Both images are currently up for vote.
There is also a vote for if the group prefers it as above or similar to below, with the graffiti styled background.



There’s going to be further votes on the colour palette and the underlay background design.
There’ll be the usual hand painted backgrounds and hand finishing seen in many Prefab77 artworks.

Anyone still interested in getting on board, I can add you to a reserve list. Pm me your email address if so.

Entry’s for the survey need to be in by 8pm UK time, Prefab77 has some free days next week to concentrate on the commission so we need to get the results back to him tonight.

Please can you make sure you get it completed ASAP.

I like the graffiti

I've sent out another survey link and pdf this morning, I'll post up the results once we have them.

There'll be 4 editions -

Main edition on paper (vote in process)
Special edition on paper (vote in process)
Special edition on wood
Special edition on brass

I agree, love the gold foil special edition and think the piece on brass will look amazing, the design rendering on the pdf doesn't do that style justice.
They would be similar to this piece on mild steel
