After nearly a decade of creating one of the most beloved Pearl Jam posters ever, Justin has decided to go back into his studio to reimagine this classic. Under the pressure of a deadline for a rock poster, sometimes the art isn't given all of the love that it might have had were there more time to nuance things more. Hampton has now gone back to subtly add new detail throughout the art and has given the rascals in the image a new poster to wheat paste (Hampton’s 2005 art print- 'Visage’). I think you will agree that the image has been taken to a new level entirely and we're very proud to present this to you.
In the spirit of a new day for this art, Justin created variants of ‘Wheat Paste, Post Haste’ that truly compliment the art. The "Moonlight” variant imagines what the scene would look under the cover of purple moonlight. He also printed a very limited run (30) of the “Moonlight” variant on lava foil, giving the purple moonlight a true shimmer. And, using the medium for the first time, Justin printed an even more limited run (10) of ‘Wheat Paste, Post Haste’ on locally sourced birch wood- true to the fence being defaced by these young miscreants.
All editions have gold metallic ink and measure 18"x24", and are signed, numbered, and hand-embossed with Justin’s “JH” press.
