None. They are all below mediocre images by artists whose value doesn’t hold well over time, so if you are buying for an investment, which it seems you are, then don’t because you will lose money on these.isitabee wrote:unfortunately i can’t buy them all, and have to choose one (or none i suppose if they’re all mediocre options and i’m better off saving my money).

Nothing wrong with buying a Dface or a Paul insect, but none of those 3, are defining works for either artist. If you are looking for something that will have banksy style price appreciation then you are looking at the wrong artists all together.
If I was looking for an undervalued piece I would look for a Dface street improvements set which i think is way under appreciated

Banksy style price appreciation? Throw out them names. Who is the Jim Cramer on this site? Upgrade to Warren Buffett.

We are coming up on armory week in NYC. Check out the reviews for Volta and Spring Break, pick a curator getting great press, and pick up a few pieces from them you like. Best bet is not to pick artists, pick curators. Great curator with a great program is going to get their artists to the next level.letstalkprints wrote:Banksy style price appreciation? Buy what you like, what makes you happy, and what you won’t get sick of should you throw something on the wall.

Not really. I don't have any of those prints. :/
Personally, I’ll spend more on the one piece that I truly love, than to spend on several pieces that I just kinda like. You only have one life and so much wall space - go big or go home. Just make sure you can afford it as art is a luxury after all.
How did you come to decide on those three prints? If I were you and were set on that artist, I'd just wait until D*face's next release and buy it at cost. If you're buying on the secondary, you've already lost, unless his value skyrockets which is highly unlikely. Based on the discussions about his last LA show, the work was just rehashed and stale. You might want to consider another artist if you want a true investment quality artist. D*face just rehashes Lichtenstein style with skeletons and attractive women. Btw, I have Drive by Shooting hanging on my wall and enjoy it everyday. You might also want to consider trying the Urban Art Association forum. On here, it's likely you're just going to see animated gifs and Lulz, especially if you're new.isitabee wrote:of course i understand this. what i was hoping for was some input on whether these are overvalued, at the peak of their worth, if they would be good investment pieces or not, that kinda thing. i can’t talk to / bounce things off my friends because they have no understanding of poster collecting. i’m trying to learn on my own and had hoped that i could reach out to the community here for some productive comments, helpful opinions, and information—not to tell me what to do, but at least give me a few points to think over while making my decision.RambosRemodeler wrote:Woo5lscott wrote:Have $
