It's a movie that deserves a lot more poster attention than it's gotten. And this one is really good. Nice job!

Two depictions of Welles, and newspaper clippings; there is more to be had for this classic, at least a Rosebud reference, but still nice to see a Citizen Kane print. Ansin just wasn't the one for this one.

I felt that the wood one subtly does that. Sled's made out of wood, when I see red I think a sled like that would be that color (even though the movie is in black and white). The man behind the money / the paper.
I like it a lot.

I think it is a great poster. Might be the first movie related print I will buy in a while, definitely over a year, maybe two. I can’t really remember the last one I bought.

I like it. Can't figure out if I like the regular or variant more. What do you think?

Definitely the regular. It just needs that splash of color to bring depth and clarity to the image. The blu-ray digibook cover also used black and white with a bit of red, to good effect.

I like how the poster hints at the layers of identity being painfully peeled away, the ruins of a life in tatters. And surely a big, larger-than-life-sized Orson Welles face is exactly what Welles himself would have preferred for a poster of any of his movies. :)

Solid poster, just not sure I need Orson Welles on the wall looking like he wants to seduce me all the time.

I think it's pretty damn good. +1 reg, but I really debated on the color as well. I agree that the color contrast helps the reg.

New "A Christmas Carol" posters by Jonathan Burton available now!

Jonathan had the following comments about the project:

"This was a great occasion to get into the character studies as described in Dickens’ novel. The concept plays with the idea of these ghosts being in his shadow to haunt him and I like the circularity of the image that leads up the image, in order of appearance, back down to his grave.

A Ghost Story of Christmas is the novels subtitle and it's the dark and moody atmosphere that I feel is the most fun to concentrate on. Christmas is a time for spooky stories around the log fire and I hope this poster haunts you. That these ghost of Past, Present and Future remind you of the the story’s message that time is fleeting but it’s never too late to open out hearts to the pain and struggle (and love) of others."

Can some one help me understand this Mad Duck group?
I asked for more info on the Citizen Kane before images of it showed up all over.
I then got added to the facebook group about the print / to buy it.
I have now been tagged in the group stating if I don't buy it I won't be able to buy any future Mad Duck posters?
Am I understanding that right? AKA if I ask about a print I have to buy it or I can't ever buy anything else they make?
