I disagree on gig posters. Winters, Emek, Pobiak, Slater, Welker, Taylor, and Sperry all had solid contenders this year. In the end I went with NC Winters' first gig poster that he did for Primus, mostly based on it being his first gig poster, but I could have gone with any of the above and I'd still be questioning my vote on who was actually best.

I agree, lots of great gig posters this year. Tough to pick one, actually. That Primus could deserve to be the print of the year on its own, even if it wasn't his first one - it's a good, fun print, imo.

What euro street art marvel would ya have picked had it been in the running?

NC Winters Primus Vermont print was my pick as best gig print of the year.

None of the winners were ones I picked, but certainly worthy of their wins. Congrats to David, Shep, and Matthew!
So it goes...

Kurtz Graduate placed 7th after finishing 2nd last year. At this rate it might not make the Top 10 next year

It's still a tremendous poster doe. One of Mondo's best as of late imo, and I'm not even huge on the film.

Indeed, amazing poster. Still Kurtz' best, imo.

I voted for it last year. Might vote for it again next year :P

I was disappointed that Shep won art print. The print may have made a few flippers happy, but it was pretty forgettable for me. Sadly, I agree with alittle that the art prints (but only art prints), as a whole, were disappointing.

I have to agree. While Shep's work has never been my thing, this one seems extra bland. No message can make up for boring art.
