Does anyone have any experience or can recommend a reputable place to certify a painting?

Old painting, contemporary painting? Do you know the name of the artist? There are a lot of variables that go into authenticating a work of art. If you provide a little more information you might get better guidance.

Quite enjoyed Tim's Vermeer if you're looking for an interesting documentary on the Dutch master.

Wouldn't recommend The Goldfinch (novel) by Donna Tartt. Had a few poignant moments, but pretty meh overall.

Looks like a Pollock to me.
