This poster is repeatedly referred to as "the holy grail" and the image is beautiful. Based on that 1960's porn star Inga. But, were the only 2 bands that played that night PJ and SG? In the bottom left of the poster is a small block that says "Tab".

Was this homage to the band Tab, or did they actually play that night? I was only about 9 when that concert played... so I wasn't actually there but I'm really interested in the history behind it.

Tab stands for "Tall Ass Bananas". Short lived supergroup featuring Bob Dylan and Tommy Chongs kids.

At the risk of answering the question:

TAB = Tom Bunch ... the event promoter.

Why does this dude keep starting threads for posters that already have threads for said poster?

I can delete this thread an add my questions to the other one.

But, for some reason, I can't add comments anymore to the comments sections. Anyway, I wanted to find out some answers to the questions I have about the art. I wanted to start a genuine art discussion, not things like: this poster sold for 300 bucks at such and such gallery in this year but now people Sell it on eBay for 3000 bucks, etc. etc.

The fluctuating monetary value of the posters are exciting to a certain extent. And the history about some stolen posters sucks, but aside from Inga, people don't talk about the other aspects of the art.

I'm going through a poster obsession phase. I want to know everything about all of the posters.

Almost like, I have to know the stories behind the art. Looking at these posters is like reading a book. So, now I think I know that TAD was the promoter. Which makes sense. I think I've seen that TAB (stamp?) on other Kozik prints, but maybe the little head was eating an acid hit.
