In 10 years... Which artist should we watch today?
I will probably be flogged for this post, but here goes anyway:
Looking forward 10 years from now, which artist - which is still mostly unnoticed today - will be the next big thing? I'm not talking "respected"; I'm talking what Banksy was in 2006: already good, but destined for greatness. There are lots of sub categories to art of course, but I'm talking someone who will be mostly unanimously praised.
Carl Cashman? Maya Hayuk? Bumblebee loves you? Bambi? Ryan Callanan? Magnus Gjoen? Cleon Peterson? Jerkface? Martin Whatson? Sandra Chevrier? Pose? Eelus? Or someone else? What are your five cents?

I was looking at the Pejac thread a few days ago and it surprised me how quickly that dude blew up. The posts from only a few years back went from "there are still some of his prints available on his website" to "sold out in minutes", so the guy definitely got that hype. I've noticed that Pez is kind of getting bigger and bigger too, his black mirror print was available for a good amount of time, and I could have pulled the trigger (but I didn't cuz I'm a poor), and now I don't think I could mull over picking up one of his prints like that, it'd be either "get it now or miss out".
