Obviously, IT is not something Obey is prepared to spend his new found wealth on. I can afford costly framing with museum glass, but I spend my money on more prints. Wouldn't it be funny if 5, 10 or 20 years from now, Heraldo Rivera opens a vault containing hundreds of thousands of editions of old Obey prints that by then would have reached outrageous prices? Then all those folks who bought them as investments end up with squat, because the market is now flooded. Then Fairey would definitely have the last laugh. Talk about phenomenology.
