This ebay listing has some solid close ups of the printing. Looks okay considering it was separated after it was painted; it definitely does have that photoshop filter look to it though.. The seps in the Lebowsky varnish photos do look a bit rougher than GitS. They might have had to cut back the colors to get the varnish layer in without rocking the costs.jkw3000 wrote:Anybody got the Burgos Ghost in the Shell in-hand for reference?finneganm wrote:Interested to see how those look post printing.

The question is, did bulky honor the sale?

Appreciated - not that I'm invested either way, but probably a good reference point for folks awaiting the Lebowski.raphulysses wrote:This ebay listing has some solid close ups of the printing. The print job for GITS was mediocre but that wasn't the printer's fault as the piece had already been completed at 300 dpi hence a couple of small areas of the print look pixelated.
TBL will be done at 600 dpi and extra pantones were added after the seps were completed in order to help it more closely resemble the jpeg.

Bartkira as an ‘homage’ to Stout?
just leave it as the jpeg. no reason to bring ink and paper into the situation.Packatrix wrote:
