Hi,
I am kinda new to this print thing, recently I bought a print from a seller in here, which up until I transfered the money seemed very communcative and friendly.
Now when he received the money, he suddenly don´t know which print I am talking about, and rarely answer my messages. We´re only talking 80 dollars, but I was using it for a christmas present, which seemed like a great idea.
I just wanna know what the standard thing to do would be? I used Paypal and I am considering opening a dispute, but as far as I understand, the buyer rarely wins a claim in there unless it´s ebay.
Hope someone can help, mostly for the ethical reasons.
Problems with a seller here on EB
I don't think that that is true. Paypal often come down on the side of the buyer in a dispute. The seller has to demonstrate that they shipped the package and that it was delivered to you using some form of tracking.Origo555 wrote: I just wanna know what the standard thing to do would be? If I were you, I would politely point out that you are going to open a dispute, and see what happens.
Okay, thanks.
I just had that impression, but that sounds good. As I wrote, for my part it´s really not about the money, more about I think it´s a drymounted up thing to do, when a website like this rely on people being honest when it comes to trades.

Oh ya- open a paypal dispute- dont delay, people like this should be flambasted. He's probably trying to score the print elsewhere, on the cheap, in the meantime.Origo555 wrote:Okay, thanks.

How long has it been? Opening a paypal dispute tends to resolve things quicker IMO. At least it gives the seller motivation to move or else have the $ taken from his account.

Call him/her out on this forum. Put a little fire under that ass.
I would not recommend doing that until/unless you are certain that it is more than a misunderstanding. There's always time to call someone out later, but you can't get the cat back into the bag, so to speak, if you act hastily. Do the paypal dispute ASAP, and if things escalate, check out fraud.org!!!posterminion wrote:Call him/her out on this forum. Put a little fire under that ass.
If this guy turns out to be a dick-hole they should be called out.morst wrote:I would not recommend doing that until/unless you are certain that it is more than a misunderstanding. It would help out the solid traders on here by red flagging the drymounter.... there is a thread dedicated to problematic traders.
Thanx.... good luck.

Is it Ed Gossage?
Because if it is ....
forget it. Even filing won't get your money back.
