If enough people complain about how not fair it is maybe she'll do it this was from now on. Then I'll have a better chance with all my friends and relatives trying for me. This race to the finish line is for the birds.

This drawing is in colour pencil (fast becoming a favourite medium of mine) and I'm currently using Faber Castell Polychromos on Fabriano Artistico. Also I'm about two days away from full internet access so a huge thanks to any who are patiently waiting for email/ message replies, I'll be getting back to you all on Tuesday and will send along extra love and happy thoughts to make up for the wait!

I'm happy she is getting more comfortable with colored pencils. We kind of wanted our commission done in that style but at the time, she said she didn't really work with that medium. She had already done the first Kingfisher (that became the print) in colored pencil but I guess she wasn't comfortable enough with it yet.

I love her oils and her color pencils, but it's so hard for me to go away from her graphite work. I'm not sure I've seen a colored work with as much fine detail as her graphite.

I'm gonna be throwing elbows like Kareem a la 84' finals if i can make this show.

Well, maybe not elbows, but semi-intimidating non-engagement.

(Important notice! As much as I'd love too I'm afraid that I'm not able to make these pieces available as commissions at present and the studio sale or auction is the best place to grab a bee!)
