I will see if we have them here and give them a try. Last time I had Doritos was probably a decade ago and I haven't ever looked at them (or the shelves they are stacked on) since.Codeblue wrote:Those Simply Organic White Cheddar Doritos are pretty tasty.bubbie wrote:mike123230 wrote:eeew, doritos

Can only do so many Star Wars parodies and Banksy-esque kids/rainbows and gold leafing and variants of everything. After denouncing stencils, then crawling back to them. At least he's not rehashing the EXACT SAME fudge over and over like Pure Evil and those stupid Nightmares
I like Eelus' earlier, creepier images, but I don't suppose they sell as well.

Lol, yup, he did a trip to Africa years ago, came back with an artistic epiphany that stencils were a lazy way out on art and that he was driven to do real art.HenryGaleWasHere wrote:Yep.PLUSH wrote:fosureRambosRemodeler wrote:I have never really been a fan of his work but I do feel it is getting progressively worse.

Guess the demand for NEISBAW clones changed his mind...
Proper Eelus. Private commission. Won't be sold to the general public. He had a handful of APs which are sold out, but he might have a canvas or 2 or some painted birch available direct.

Mind sharing a name or two of prints from when you believe he was at his peak that you believe capture his talent at it's best?

Besides shat at all of those are the stencils and rainbows he is back to with recent release (less color with the "doritos"), suspender, trip the light, so still wondering what has changed in some people's minds. Just not feeling the imagery / executive / concept as much? NEISBAW is his most popular and After the Rain got good reception seems people fell off with WTNFU.
