Can someone explain the red "stamp" on the Ikebana prints?

He uses that on a lot of things. I think it's his name in kanji, but I'm sure one of the OGs will be along to correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm really waffling on Ikebana 2.5

I scooped up I and II regs, but I'm thinking 2.5 being a giclee won't pair well with the screenprints because the background gray will probably differ. On the other hand the embossing on 2.5 looks awesome.

Change my mind

But really, if you like the image, then go for it. It's not like you're going to ship them all to Framing Devil to all be framed in the same frame with owl feathers and barn scraps, or are you?

Aaron is known to be picky AF. Generally a giclee matches the original better, so I'm guessing it will be a faithful reproduction. Additionally, this uses a print technique that he hasn't used before, and he seems very excited about it (based on context, not actual knowledge). This was ultimately what pushed me over the edge.

Anyone else having a tough time getting in touch with Mitch through the Vacvvm email (or the P&T email)? I've been waiting on a response about a damaged print since September and it's been crickets.
EDIT: Resolved! I guess my emails were going to a spam folder :hanging:

Odd, I reached out to him about something a couple of weeks ago and he responded the next day, you might try again, good luck!

Just take the ID portion of the url (in this case BNaDPlngkYR) and surround it with the instagram tag (or click the instagram button above the text entry box and paste the ID in).
