Been waiting for a decent one for this movie.
I thought it was not that bad of a flick.fredo wrote:Just watched that over the weekend for the first time. Eh...had its moments.
The Fountain, imo.bapaik wrote:It's my favorite Aronofsky movie. Probably not the most popular opinion.
That's the one my friends argue with me about. I've watched it a couple times just to give it more of a chance, but I just don't vibe with it as others do. Requiem and Black Swan are my favorites, but I can only bring myself to watch Requiem so often.iambillyg wrote:The Fountain, imo.bapaik wrote:It's my favorite Aronofsky movie. this is the correct answer. i cry throughout large stretches of this movie no matter how many times i watch it.iambillyg wrote:The Fountain, imo.bapaik wrote:It's my favorite Aronofsky movie. Probably not the most popular opinion.
In high school this kid had it on for his 18th birthday party. Like a large group. My girlfriend and I showed up about half way through, and then were just somber for the rest of the evening.jkw3000 wrote:Psh, who hasn't had Requiem playing in the background for dates, family visits, quinceaneras, or just random Tuesday evenings with a couple tacos in hand?

I have no idea why that was the movie they chose.
