No joke, today at a cook out I saw someone put salt and pepper on their burger after it had been cooked.

Yeah, I wasn't directing that at anyone in particular, there just seemed to be some general confusion :lol: after it's cooked is indeed ridiculous.
You don't like the texture or taste of freshly cracked pepper and ground sea salt on a burger with crisp, cold lettuce and juicy tomato? Really? I bet you don't put pepper on your salad either. You're missing out!

I put black pepper on everything. I just season my burgers with a good salt and pepper crust before I cook them.

I also don't like plain sliced tomatoes

i dont put pepper on anything that I can think of. not once its been cooked.
