I thought it was not that bad of a flick.

I like the movie. Fulfills my need for ballerina films featuring women going crazy and also Winona Ryder comebacks. Surprisingly few of those out there.

It's my favorite Aronofsky movie. Probably not the most popular opinion.

That's the one my friends argue with me about. I've watched it a couple times just to give it more of a chance, but I just don't vibe with it as others do. Requiem and Black Swan are my favorites, but I can only bring myself to watch Requiem so often.

Psh, who hasn't had Requiem playing in the background for dates, family visits, quinceaneras, or just random Tuesday evenings with a couple tacos in hand?

this is the correct answer. i cry throughout large stretches of this movie no matter how many times i watch it.

black swan is great. but it doesn't have the boundless amount of heart of The Fountain.

In high school this kid had it on for his 18th birthday party. Like a large group. My girlfriend and I showed up about half way through, and then were just somber for the rest of the evening.

I have no idea why that was the movie they chose.

Our health teacher also wanted to show it in class for the drug abuse part. You had to get permission slips. She also left out the scene I believe you are referencing.
