1/1 unique images, each an edition of 5?

wat

PS it grinds my gears that after all these years Tristan doesn’t know how to spell “giclee” correctly. He spells it “gyclee” and that’s how you can tell if he wrote the copy himself — check out IG as an example.

He’s here in Cincinnati doing the largest mural in Ohio. Met him the other day and he was a nice dude. Here are some pics of his mural in progress which will involve the music history of Cincinnati.

Upcoming release is 1000 notes, each representing 1/1000th ownership of a painting. But the bills say 0.001%, which is 1/100,000th.

He was called out on the discord and response was that the 0.001% is for aesthetics alone, and that each bill is actually 0.1%.

Artists and math do not mix.

Also -- if you own 10% or more, you can go see it in person once per year. If you acquire 85%, you can exchange for the painting itself.

...which doesn't make a lot of sense, because the other 15% then own what exactly? And if you owned 10% at that point, you'd be able to visit... nothing?

^ Or the new owner would be required to show it to the tenpercenter once a year, lol.

The whole thing is pretty dumb anyway. The math proves it.

I mean if it’s true ownership, once you own 501 you have more of a say in the painting than anybody (including Tristan) does and you could have your property removed from his studio. I wonder what the terms and conditions are.

Maybe he rigged it so he only ever drops 500 for sale and you gotta buy the remainder off him to get to 85%.

If you think the note is cool, $75 is a super fair price to get one. I just wouldn't hold my breath for anything useful beyond that.

Surprisingly it isn’t related to NFTs at all. Just regular analog fudge.
