You got like three weeks to scrounge up that money.

But this is bizarre to me. Just buy the one sheet. They are literally about the same price.

I mean it's not that bizzare that people prefer a screen print to a litho.

A Lot of those one sheets are folded or damaged and over 30 years old and not signed by struzan.

Art print option is cool.

Struzan is a cornerstone of this whole hobby, love seeing his work get the screen print treatment on nice thick paper, and getting them signed.

When you can source a rolled vintage example of this one sheet for less than a 2017 copy for less than one of these, then yes, it is a tad strange to me. The originals will hold their value and keep going up (especially the teaser version), these won't. If the original was unattainable for general EB poors or collectors in general in terms of rarity or cost then this would be great.

Also the contrast on these look extremely off compared to the one sheet, almost cranked up too much.

In what regard? Because its just a few inches smaller on each side?

Maybe I don’t collect one sheets. Maybe I have 24x36 frames ready to go. Maybe I don’t give a fudge about one sheets. Maybe I’m cuckoo for signatures. Who gives a fudge?

gonna go out on a limb here and say most people who buy posters of movies they love, even one sheets, buy them because they like the art, not worrying about how much value they will hold.

By that logic you shouldn't buy the original one sheet, and just pay $10 for an even cheaper one sided litho you can get from allposters.com. And you should have that same logic to every poster ever. Pay as little as possible for reproduction lithos.

That's a great argument to me. Why buy anything limited/collectible when there's a cheap, standard version somewhere? Nothing in this hobby is necessary, but it doesn't feel that way when something is the right medium/format and I neeeeeed it.

I feel like this conversation happens whenever there's a Struzan screenprint. I've bought two. Original one sheets are great, but I'm still glad I got those 24x36 screen prints with a sig cause it fits the medium/format of what I collect.

And no, likely not buying this one, but there's an audience for it.
