APPROXIMATELY 24x36?!?!? Here's an idea. Get a printer that drymounting actually cuts the paper to 24x36 instead of just guesses.

Dude that is so common in this hobby - so many prints I’ve gotten that are said to be aren’t exactly 24”x36”, really not a big deal - do yourself a service and measure your prints before you toss them into a frame. You can always take it to a framer, etc and have the borders trimmed down slightly to make it fit.
Ya'll see the leprechaun say yaaaaaa!
Maybe they’re not all the same.
As far as this happening frequently in the hobby, the only time it’s happened to me was coincidentally enough with another Back to the Future print. The Durieux one that the printer drymounted up.

So they didn't just phone it in?Count wrote:Just unrolled my Struzan BTTF. I have the ones from Bottleneck and to my eye this is more or less similar in terms of quality. If anything, I thought it came out better than ET.
Really looking forward to getting the BTTF Struzan.
Shame Fox cancelled Dallas Fan Expo, i was hoping have it routed to me via there.

My first Stru. It's going straight to the wall. Don't see an issue here. I mean, it's a screen printed painting. Looks pretty damn good. The silkscreen artifacts are more noticeable around the lighter parts of the door, but I don't see how that could be avoided. As RN mentioned, I like analog feel over a standard giclee.
My only nitpick is I wish it came in the original 41" x 27" size.
Does anyone know how the original poster was printed? If it was anything like the mass produced method below, I'll take a screen print.

someone should contact a printer from black market, they have screened dave kinsey paintings that look exactly like a giclee, i asked them about it once and they wouldn't get into specifics but said it is a totally new screen printing process
