This is a tiny 7cm wood engraving. Letting my tributary edition sit until after the holidays now. It's all dry but I really don't want to have a manic week ...It's time for a few days off. Thanks for all the support everyone.

Over the past six months hand engraving in copper has gone from something I do to edit the occasional line in etched plates to my primary way of working. I'm absolutely in love with the depth of character achievable with the line work. This one is a scrappy example but over the next few months I'll start showing some bigger plates I'm working on that I'm really proud of.

Someone asked on IG and he replied “they will be later next year. I want to work on a collection before I do anything with them. I’ll also be making a mini book too.”
