Mini copper engraving. 3.5cm by 7cm. Printed on Fabriano tinted paper. Feeling like I'm making really good progress lately slowing down my eagerness to start a piece. More time spent on planning light contrasts, line variations and composition. Slowly breaking imbedded bad habits. #copperplateengraving #phlegm #printmakingstudio #intaglio #burin #miniprint

The detail of this print is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. How can someone possibly make such small hairline scratches and be able to print off of it. I’m staring at this thing like 3 inches from the work. This is pretty drymounting amazing.

Real talk. This fudge is pretty amazing.

From an execution standpoint, easily his finest print work to date.

Either that's a really big match, or that etching is impressive as hell

“My plan is to scan these and make a high quality mini book with a hand printed cover. I'd like to make something that's a bit more attainable for fans. I will sell the original prints too at some point but I'd prefer to think about that later when the series is all done. For now I just want to enjoy working.”

Possibly the greatest joy of working for yourself - the ability to enjoy your work in peace without some f#$@turd manager ruining it for you

Glad he's turning these into a book. Will be all over that.

The book can't come soon enough. So stoked to see all these images residing in one place

Easily my favorite print from the last 2 years. The detail is insane.

I'd rather have a physical copy than a digital one
