Us 3.

The cart hoarding was getting too much and I notice people tend to give up thinking it's sold out. Lose business
So why didn't you guys turn it off long time ago? Just wondering.

Regardless of what recently happened, obey never had a cart hold with shopify, so it seems like it was always an option. I have no clue how it works from the vendor side though.

That's why I thought it was always an option. Granted, I have no idea how it works either.

Awesome. My very first collection in life was little pewter figurines from when I was like 7 until early teens. Got me started on this road...looking forward to coming full circle with a Pollock walking fish!

we have never touched anything in regards to cart holding. We realized something was up on Jim's last week when everything sold out in less then a minute and noticed it for the next few releases. AJ's watercolor print usually takes about 25 min to sellout because there is always one person that likes to just look at it and analyze it while its in their cart. Today it sold out within seconds.

And that's great for everyone!
I just thought there was always an option to turn the hold off and always wondered why most keep it on.

 It really was a much needed improvement. I've been stuck on "Inventory Error" pages a ton of times on Shopify.
